Welcome to Humpty Dumpty Toy Library

Humpty Dumpty Toy Library is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation dedicated to providing high-quality toys for children to borrow. 

We believe play is essential for a child's development, and we're committed to ensuring every family has access to quality toys to support this vital stage of learning.

Hey there Egg-cellent friends! 

I'm Humpty, your friendly toy library superhero (that’s right, s-u-p-e-r-h-e-r-o!  You can read the real story of Humpty here).  
Do you know what a toy library is? At a toy library, you can borrow toys for a few weeks and then return them to swap for different ones to play with! Ready to find out more about my toy library?

    Starting at just $60*, our Toy Library membership is significantly cheaper than constantly buying new toys to keep up with your growing child’s needs. You'll be amazed at how much you can save over time. In fact, by using our online catalogue, you’ll be able to track how much you save each time you borrow.

    2. A World of Toys at Your Fingertips

    Our library boasts over 1,000 high-quality toys, carefully curated by our volunteering team of toy experts and are appropriate for children aged 0-9 years. From educational puzzles to imaginative playsets; musical instruments to cozy coupe cars, Humpty Dumpty Toy Library has something to spark curiosity and ignite learning in every child.

    3. Unleash Your Child's Superhero

    Just like Humpty, children have amazing learning potential. Our toys are designed to stimulate various developmental aspects, including motor skills, problem-solving, social interaction, and language acquisition - even if it looks like they’re “only playing”. Our friendly volunteers are always on hand to offer guidance and suggestions for age-appropriate play.

    By joining our toy library, you're keeping toys out of landfill and contributing to a more sustainable future. We reduce waste by giving toys a second life and encouraging responsible consumption (as well as accepting donations from our generous community).  Plus, you can "try before you buy," saving money and ensuring your child loves the toys they borrow.

  • Monday & Thursday: 10:00 am to 11:30 am

  • Saturday: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
